Local Legion Encouraging Youth Involvement For Remembrance Day

The Palmerston Legion Youth and Education Committee want students to get involved with Remembrance Day.

The Legion has issued a release geared toward students for their annual Remembrance Day Poster and Literary contest, Remembrance Video contest and Public Speaking Contest. Students in the Minto/Palmerston area are encouraged to get involved at no cost, and rules and entry forms will be provided to the Palmerston Public, and Norwell District Secondary Schools.

Forms can also be found at the Palmerston Library, the Palmerston Legion, or online at www.on.legion.ca. Any local post-secondary students may also be eligible to apply to the Provincial bursary program for up to $750 towards their post-secondary education.
