Four-year-old fatally injured at Grey Highlands farm

A four-year-old child suffered life threatening injuries involving farm equipment at a property in Grey Highlands.

Grey County OPP responded to the incident at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday, after the child was hurt by machinery being operated by an occupant of the farm.

Police responded to the call on the 3rd Concession, along with Grey County Paramedics, and Southgate Dundalk Firefighters.

Police say the child was transported to the hospital by ambulance but succumbed to his injuries.

OPP Forensic Identification Services and OPP Grey County Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
