UPDATE: Separate Highway 23 closures in North Perth

One section of Highway 23 has been reopened, while another section of the same highway remains closed after two sperate collisions.

A tractor-trailer rollover south of Palmerston affected one area.  That section of Highway 23 is closed until mid-afternoon on Monday while crews clean up chickens that spilled on the roadway.

The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries.

Meanwhile, a section of Highway 23 at Atwood is now open.

The OPP closed the highway at Perth Line 72 and Arthur Street because of downed hydro lines.  Crews were on the scene early this morning making repairs.
