Weather Network predicts pleasant fall

A fall forecast from the Weather Network suggests we will see fairly warm dry weather over the next three months.

Weather Network Chief Meteorologist Chris Scott said despite warm weather over the last weekend, more seasonal temperatures are expected to prevail over the next few weeks.

It's expected to be a little drier than usual, with less rainfall.

Later this fall will see a milder than normal pattern with fewer fall storms.

However, total rainfall is expected to be about normal because of a few systems tapping into tropical moisture.

Peak fall colours will be later than usual but are expected to be excellent overall.

Although Western Canada may see a milder than normal winter, a more traditional Canadian winter is expected for the rest of us.
