Designer handbags auctioned off in Kincardine

Huron Shores Hospice is holding its second Handbags for Hospice tonight.

Co-Chair Carol Rencheck said they have over 90 designer handbags ready to be auctioned off at the event at the Kincardine Pavilion.  They also have four experience packages as part of the live auction.

Rencheck said last year's inaugural event allowed them to raise enough money to get the bed at Tiverton Park Manor, which they did last spring.

She says proceeds from tonight's event will go towards operating costs. There is no government funding available to them.
