Owen Sound boil water advisory lifted

The City of Owen Sound is advising residents and users affected by the recent boil water advisory that the advisory has been lifted and normal use may resume.

The affected area was the water-serviced area south of Greenwood Cemetery including County Road 5 (2nd Avenue East), Inglis Falls Road, Forest Heights subdivision, Harrison Park, and a portion of the vicinity of Greenwood Cemetery itself.

Adequate chlorine residual had been confirmed in the distribution system on Wednesday. Water samples have confirmed no adverse results and that the water is safe to consume.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
