Planned power outages for two Sundays

Thousands of Westario Power customers in parts of southern Grey-Bruce and northern Wellington counties are facing lengthy power outages over the next two Sundays as Hydro One completes some upgrades.

Customers in Elmwood and Neustadt will experience a planned outage this Sunday, starting at 1 a.m. for up to four hours. This outage is the result of loss of supply from Hydro One.

And the following Sunday, September 30, Westario Power customers in Clifford, Harriston and Palmerston will experience a planned outage. That disruption will start at 7 a.m. and last up to five hours. It's also the result of loss of supply from Hydro One.

Westario Power crews will patrol all affected areas during re-energization.
