OPP investigating theft in Goderich

The OPP are hoping the public can assist them in tracking down a suspect involved in a recent break-and-enter theft that occurred in Goderich.

On September 18, sometime between 4 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., an unknown thief broke into the Goderich-Exeter Railway portable office building located on Maitland Road North through an unlocked window. Once inside, the thief stole a silver Latitude E5470 laptop valued at $1,000.

Investigators noticed the thief used a step located outside the portable to gain access to the window.

Anyone with information regarding this case should contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
