OPP execute search warrant in Seaforth

An OPP search warrant at a residence in Seaforth resulted in the arrests of three men.

Members of the Huron County OPP detachment along with the Huron-Perth and Grey-Bruce Community Street Crimes Units executed a search warrant Wednesday at a location on Main Street South in Seaforth.

Police seized hydromorphone, methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They also discovered a stolen passport, SIN card, Outdoors Card, driver's licences, health cards and banking cards.

27-year-old Chad Anderson of Seaforth and 25-year-old Scott Forde of Clinton face charges for possession of methamphetamine, hydromorphone and cannabis marijuana. Both were released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 29 in Goderich.

30-year-old Alex Clark of Clinton faces similar possession charges, as well as three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He was released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for October 29 in Goderich.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
