Names released in Wellington County fatal crash Saturday

Wellington County OPP have released more information about a two-vehicle collision Saturday night that claimed the lives of three people.

The crash on Wellington Road 44 just outside Rockwood involved a pickup truck and a sedan.

The driver of the sedan, 45-year-old Jacqueline Greig, and a passenger, 17-year-old Kiefer Greig, both of Fergus were pronounced dead in hospital.

35-year-old Michael O'Neil, also of Fergus, was a passenger in the sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the pick-up truck was not injured.

Members of the Wellington County OPP and Technical Collision Investigators continue to investigate the cause of this collision.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
