A motorist was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision in Southgate on Tuesday.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police responded to a traffic collision involving two vehicles on Highway 89 near Side Road 15 just before 10 a.m.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger and another driver were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision is currently being investigated by OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Highway 89 between Side Road 15 and East/West Luther Townline will remain closed until further notice.
Fire and paramedics also attended the scene.
The deceased will not be identified until next of kin have been notified.
