Brockton wins award for branding strategy

The Municipality of Brockton has won a prestigious award.

Brockton was recognized with an international award for its new brand strategy, which was entered in the 2018 MarCom Awards program recognizing outstanding achievement in marketing and communications.

Brockton was presented with a gold award for its promotional campaign, “Brockton Branding Celebrates Roots while looking to a Bright Future.”

Brockton launched its new branding in June after working with eSolutions to develop a new logo, website and key message.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
