Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce AGM

The Mount Forest District Chamber of Commerce heard the "20 ingredients of an outstanding downtown" during its annual general meeting Thursday.

Wellington North’s Economic Development Officer Dale Small said “a vibrant, active downtown is a really important asset to a community.”

But in order to make it work, everybody, not just downtown businesses, has a role to play.

The Mount Forest Chamber elected its new board of directors, but at the moment is still looking for a president to replace David Sharpe who has come to the end of his term.

Chamber activities include publishing the Community Guide, running the annual Fireworks Festival and hosting the annual Excellence Awards.
