Ag.Park Fundraising Committee keeps rolling in Goderich

Goderich council has extended the term of the fund-raising committee for the Agricultural Park.

Councillor Trevor Bazinet, who is a member of the committee, said he's very pleased to see it extended beyond the original date of November 30.

"Our goal was $1.15 million and we've exceeded our goal, we're over $1.2 million and we still have money coming in so we're gonna be way over our goal. We couldn't ask for better results," he said.

Bazinet said members of the committee didn't want to see it disbanded before the park was actually finished and they want to continue to fundraise.
