Teen badly injured in house fire in South Bruce Peninsula

An early-morning house fire in South Bruce Peninsula sent three people to hospital.

Firefighters and Bruce County paramedics were dispatched to the fire on Spry Lake Road just before 4 a.m.

Three people were found inside the residence and were all rushed to hospital for treatment. A 17-year-old male suffered life-threatening injuries.

The house was destroyed.

South Bruce Peninsula fire department has contacted the Ontario Fire Marshal.

The OPP remain on scene and have closed Spry Lake Road between Bruce Road 13 and Bryant Street.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
