A 28-year-old Owen Sound man is facing sexual assault and luring charges in relation to allegations from a 13-year-old girl.
Owen Sound police said the victim reported that she was electronically lured by the accused on a social media application in August of 2018.
Detectives investigated the complaint from the child and as a result have charged the man with luring a child under the age of 16, sexual interference and sexual assault.
The accused appeared in court on October 31, 2018, and was later released from custody.
The victim, in this case, is a child. Neither she nor the accused can be named.
