Police have identified the Stoney Creek man who died last night after being hit by a vehicle near Lake Belwood in Centre Wellington Township.
It happened around 6:00 o'clock on Wellington Road 18.
The 78-year-old man was rushed to the hospital but died a short time later.
Police have identified the victim as Ivan Domjancic.
Police say the pulled over on Wellington Road 18 and attempted to cross the road when he was hit by another vehicle.
The investigation continues. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash who has not already spoken with police is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
