OHL Wrap: Attack blank Otters

Owen Sound 4 Erie 0

Mack Guzda had to stop just 18 shots to earn the shut out as Owen Sound blanked Erie 4-0. It was Guzda's second shut out of the season.

Kevin Hancock set up three of the Attack's goals earning him first star honours. Nick Suzuki struck twice in the win and Cade Robinson and Brady Lyle also scored.

The Attack out shot the Otters 44-18.

Windsor 2 Guelph 1 (SO)

Anthony Popovich stopped 28 shots over 65 minutes of work but it wasn't enough as Guelph lost 2-1 to Windsor in a shoot out.

The Spitfires were first on the board with Chris Playfair scoring at 5:10 of the second. Isaac Ratcliffe answered for the Storm less than ten minutes later.

It took eight rounds of the shoot out to decide the winner. It was Daniel D'Amico who finally ended the game.

Zach Poirier and Ratcliffe scored for Guelph in the shoot out. Curtis Douglas and Luke Kutkevicius also scored shoot out goals for the Spitfires.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
