PJHL Wrap: McLlwain Lifts Hawks to Victory

Alliston 11 Walkerton 7

Spencer Elder had a hat trick and an assist, Justin Donnely struck twice and set up two more and Gary Mantz also scored and had three assists but it was not enough as Walkerton lost 11-7 to Alliston.

The Hornets were led by Ryan Sallows with a hat trick and by Jakob Power with two goals and an assist.

Exeter 7 Aylmer 6

Carter McLlwain scored the game winner in overtime to give Exeter a 7-6 win over Aylmer.

It was McLwain's fourth goal of the night. Ian Vandenheuvel scored twice and had two assists for the Hawks and Jonathon Frook scored and set up two more in the win.

Matt Bond led the Spitfires with two goals.

Goderich 5 Schomberg 1

Matt Bean, Jeff Fritzley, Eric Vander Eyk, and Trent Michie all scored and had an assist in the Goderich Flyers 5-1 win over Schomberg.

Kyle Dunlap earn the win with 26 saves.

The Flyers were 4 for 6 on the power play.

Penetang 4 Hanover 2

Jorden Reaman and Noah Johnson scored for the Barons in a losing efford as Hanover fell 4-2 to Penetang.

Bryce Steele and Ben Sly led the Kings with a goal and an assist each. Braedon Dorion set up two for the Kings.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
