OHL Wrap: Attack win second game against Erie

The Owen Sound Attack scored three times on the power play to win their second game of the weekend against the Erie Otters with a 4-2 decision.

On Saturday the Attack shut out the Otters 4-0.

Nick Suzuki scored the game winner on the power play in the latter half of the second period and also set up two more for Owen Sound. Kevin Hancock struck twice for the Attack.

The Otters were kept off the scoreboard until just past the midway point of the third when Petr Cajka scored back-to-back goals.

London 5 Kitchener 1

Evan Bouchard scored and had an assist in the London Knights' 5-1 win over Kitchener.

Matthew Timms set up three of the Knights goals. Connor McMichael, Alex Turko, Nathan Dunkley and Liam Foudy also scored in the win.

Alexey Lipanov was the lone scorer for the Rangers, finally putting Kitchener on the board with just 27 seconds left in the second period with a power play goal assisted by Joseph Garreffa and Jonathan Yantsis.

Jordan Kooy made 25 saves in the win.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
