PJHL Wrap: Hawks and Hornets win

Mitchell 4 Mount Forest 2

The Mitchell Hawks rallied from a 2-0 deficit with four unanswered goals to beat Mount Forest 4-2.

Ethan Hill's power play goal with 42 seconds left in the second period finally put the Hawks on the board.

Jake Finlayson tied the game at 1:36 of the third and Jarett Bogdon scored the game winner at 12:26. Finlayson's second goal of the game on an empty Patriots' net with 34 seconds left in regulation gave the Hawks insurance.

Troy Weber and Michael Anselmini scored in the first half of the second for the Pats.

Alliston 6 Wingham 3

The Ironmen fell behind late in the first and couldn't recover, losing 6-3 to Allison.

Wingham got goals from Carter Collinson, Shane Vollmer and Jamie Huber. Vollmer and Huber also had assists in the win.

The Hornets were led by Keegan Gilles-McAnulty with a pair of goals. Joey Visconti had three assists in the win.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
