Local Hospital Will See Disruptions As Flooring Is Replaced

There will be some disruptions starting next week at the Lion's Head Hospital while flooring is replaced.

Starting November 20th until December 3rd, the Lion’s Head Hospital will be offering emergency services only while the flooring is being replaced. The ER will remain open 24/7 and will be staffed as normal, however, the four patient rooms at the hospital will be temporarily closed and any patients requiring admission will be transferred to one of the other Grey-Bruce Health Services hospitals.

The outpatient Lab and X-ray will also be closed during the project. Any patients who have been pre-booked for x-rays or other appointments during this two week period have been, or will be, re-scheduled. The current carpets are being replaced with non-slip vinyl flooring. For any questions, call the Lion’s Head Hospital at 519-793-3424.
