Renovated Owen Sound City Hall open for business

The City of Owen Sound is once again offering services at the traditional City Hall location of 808 2nd Avenue East.

Starting at 8:30 am Tuesday, all services that were available at the temporary location in the Professional Centre have been transferred to the renovated and fully accessible location in the City’s downtown core.    City Services will no longer be available at the Professional Centre.

The renovation project addressed mould and asbestos and updated building systems.    It included new accessibility features, new windows, new insulation, and a watertight exterior.

New meeting rooms overlook the city’s downtown and an excavated basement creates space for on-site records management.

The re-opening of City Hall is planned for Saturday, November 24th beginning at 1:00 pm.
