Huron County Christmas Bureau ready

The annual Huron County Christmas Bureau is preparing for another season.

Since 1967, the Huron-Perth Children's Aid Society has put on the Christmas Bureau in partnership with host churches and sponsors as a community service to help local youth.

Phones are open to make appointments from November 19 to December 7,  from 9:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.  To be eligible for support, you must have legal custody of your child or children.

All donations of $10 or more are issued charitable tax receipts.  This program is funded entirely by donations and supported by volunteers.

The bureau locations are in Goderich at Lakeshore United Church (56 North St.), at Clinton United Church (105 Ontario St.), at Exeter Christian Reformed Church (30 Huron St. W) and in Wingham at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (281 Josephine St.)

If you call and don't get through, try again, as volunteers cannot return your call.
