Perth East seeking public input for new strategic plan

Perth East has begun engaging the public regarding the formation of their 2019-2022 Strategic Plan.

This will be the second strategic plan, the first being completed from 2012 through this year, and the municipality is going to host three public workshop sessions held on Thursday, December 13 at the Perth East Recreation Complex (40 Temperance St., Milverton) to receive feedback. From 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. for volunteer and service group leaders in Perth East, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. for Perth East business leaders and from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. for residents of Perth East.

Perth East residents can also give their feedback on the Township’s public engagement website, “Your Say Perth East” (www.yoursaypertheast.ca) from Monday, November 26, 2018 until Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
