Wellington North council pleased with SVCA budget

The Saugeen Valley Conservation Authority received praise at Wellington North Council Monday.

It came after Authority General Manager Wayne Brohman announced a zero per cent increase in the proposed 2019 budget.

Mayor Andy Lennox called the budget "quite an accomplishment" for the SVCA and questioned how it was possible.

Brohman said among other things the SVCA is ending 2018 with a $28,000 surplus which is being applied to the 2019 budget.
