Rangers fall to the Sting

Greg Meireles set up two for Kitchener but it wasn't enough as the Rangers fell 7-4 to the Sting.

Rickard Hugg opened the scoring just over two minutes inot the game to give the Rangers a brief one goal lead. Franco Sproviero answered for the Sting a minute-and-15-seconds later.

Adam Ruzicka gave the Sting the lead early in the second before Jonathan Yantsis tied the game at 3:56. Ruzicka's second of the game gave the Sting the lead again around the midway point of the second. Brayden Guy scored just over a minute later to give the Sting a two goal cushion and Hugo Leufvenius' power play goal at 11:35 of the middle frame would stand as the game winner.

Nick McHugh and Eric Guest would also score for the Rangers.

Ruzicka lead the Sting with a pair of goals and an assist. Sean Josling had three assists for Sarnia. Sproviero had two goals in the victory.

No rest for the Rangers who are back in action when they visit Flint tonight.
