Crash in Owen Sound sends two to hospital

Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Owen Sound.

The Owen Sound Police Service said on Friday just before 3 p.m., a 2016 Kia SUV travelling west struck an eastbound 2006 Hyundai at the intersection of 10th Street East and 4th Avenue East.

The driver of the Hyundai, a woman from the Bruce Peninsula, and her passenger were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The driver of the Kia, an Owen Sound man, was not injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
