Enclosed trailer and snowmobile stolen from Winthrop Road property

Huron County OPP are asking for information from the public to help solve a theft of an enclosed snowmobile trailer and snowmobile.

It's believed the trailer was stolen from a farm property on Winthrop Road sometime between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The stolen trailer is described as a white, 2005 Triton fibreglass snowmobile clamshell style enclosed trailer valued at $3,000. The trailer had "Polaris Racing Team" on both sides. Inside the trailer was a 2015 Arctic Cat XF 1000 turbo valued at $9,000.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
