Brockton residents asked about cannabis retail stores

The Municipality of Brockton is seeking opinions from local residents and business owners regarding the future sale of cannabis at retail outlets in the municipality.

The provincial government will introduce legislation to allow the private sector to retail recreational cannabis in Ontario by April 1, 2019.

Brockton has posted a Cannabis Retail Store Survey on its website at Brockton.ca/Cannabis to gather input on whether cannabis should be available through local outlets.

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and will close on Thursday, December 20 at noon.

Feedback gathered from the survey will be considered by Brockton council at its January 8 meeting.
