Two charged with kidnapping, attempted murder in Grey Highlands

Two men are facing attempted murder and kidnapping charges after police discovered an injured victim at a home in Grey Highlands.

The Ontario Provincial Police have not released much information about the incident, but said officers and EMS were called to the residence on Road 120 on Wednesday where a male victim was found injured. The extent of the injuries is not known.

One man was arrested at the scene, while another was located and arrested with help from the OPP's Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit.

Punit Gandhi, 29 of Brampton and Isaiah Morris, 22, of Southgate are now charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, kidnapping, forcible confinement, and robbery with a weapon.

Both men appeared for a bail hearing and are currently being held in custody pending a court date scheduled for December 10 in Owen Sound.
