PJHL: Flyers rally to beat the Bulldogs; Barons use the power play to win

Goderich 3 Kincardine 2

Goderich rallied from an early two goal deficit to beat Kincardine 3-2.

Ethan Long put the Bulldogs on the board at 5:28 of the first and Jordan Caskanette added a short handed, unassisted goal just over a minute-and-a-half later to give Kincardine a 2-0 lead.

Mitch Fisher scored midway through the opening frame to narrow the gap for Goderich heading into the second.

Noah Nurse scored the equalizer with just four seconds left in the middle frame and Trent Mitchie had the go-ahead goal with 58 seconds left in regulation to give the Flyers the win.

Hanover 2 Mount Forest 1

Brandon Richardson scored the game winner on the power play midway through the third and Hanover edged Mount Forest 2-1.

Orion Hexamer was in on both of the Barons goals, scoring late in the first and then assisting on Richardson's game winner. Richardson also set up Hexamer's power play goal.

Thomas Haffner scored for the Patriots midway through the second.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
