High levels of air pollution are possible this afternoon.

An AIR QUALITY WARNING is in place due to the possibility of deteriorating air quality. Hot and sunny conditions are expected to cause increasing ground-level ozone concentrations this afternoon. Moderate risk AQHI values are expected throughout the day with the potential of short-term high risk AQHI values in the afternoon.

When air pollution levels are high, everyone should limit time outdoors. Consider reducing or rescheduling outdoor sports, activities and events.

You may experience mild and common symptoms such as eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches or a mild cough. More serious but less common symptoms include wheezing, chest pains or severe cough. If you think you are having a medical emergency, seek immediate medical assistance.

People more likely to be impacted by outdoor air pollution, including people aged 65 and older, pregnant people, infants and young children, people with an existing illness or chronic health condition, and people who work outdoors, should reduce or reschedule strenuous activities outdoors and seek medical attention if experiencing symptoms.

The Lincolns fell behind early and couldn't recover in a 3-1 loss to Leamington.
Thomas Michaud scored on the power play for the Flyers at 13:10 of the first period.
Cayse Ton answered for St. Marys with a power play goal of his own early in the second. Adam Jeffery put the Flyers ahead just over six minutes later.
Ryan Gagnier's power play goal at 12:28 of the third would add insurance for the host team.
The Lincolns' Kyle Curtin took the loss with 32 saves. Zach Borgiel made 29 saves for the Flyers.
