New online platform gives residents a voice in South Bruce Peninsula

The Town of South Bruce is launching a new public engagement format.

Entitled “Open Mic South Bruce Peninsula”, the new online platform will give residents an opportunity to voice opinions and concerns on a variety of topics. The first community engagement is related to cannabis and includes community surveys on permitting retail cannabis stores in South Bruce Peninsula and determining if further restrictions are desired on the smoking of cannabis with the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

Staff will collect results and present them to council on January 15 in regards to the cannabis issue.

The new platform can be found at www.openmicsouthbrucepeninsula.ca.
