PJHL: Flyers win close one; Ironmen dominate Hawks;

Hanover 6 Walkerton 2

Hanover scored four times in the third period to stun Walkerton 6-2.

The Barons were led by Brandon Richardson with a pair of goals -- the first on the power play midway through the opening frame and the second unassisted early in the third which would stand as the game winner. Richardson also assisted on Jorden Reaman's goal at 12:45 of the final frame.

Phillips and Derek Cornfield each earned two points with a goal and an assist each.

The Hawks got goals from Austin Brown and Justin Donnelly.

Goderich 7 Kincardine 6

The Goderich Flyers won a back-and-forth-affair against Kincardine 7-6. Trent Michie's power play goal at 7:08 of the third would stand as the game winner. Hunter Robins-Gibbons put the Bulldogs within a point with less than seven minutes left in regulation but the visitors couldn't score the equalizer.

Michie lead the Flyers with a pair of goals and two assists. Chad Treble also struck twice for Goderich. Trevor Donaldson led the Bulldogs with a goal and two helpers.

Wingham 8 Mitchell 4

The Wingham Ironmen led 5-0 after the second and withstood a late surge by Mitchell to win 8-4.

Jamie Huber led the Ironmen with a pair of goals and an assist. Carter Collinson also picked up three points with a goal and two helpers. Rhys Vollmer had two goals for Wingham.

Jarett Bogdon scored and set up another for Mitchell.

The Ironmen were 3 for 9 on the power play with two of the goals coming unassisted.
