Fordwich lotterty ticket theft

Police in Huron County are trying to track down suspects in connection with the theft of lottery tickets at convenience store on Patrick St. in the Town of Fordwich.

The theft took place around 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 26 when the duo used a common distraction technique to commit the theft. As the one suspect was being helped by the store cashier a second suspect stole approximately $1,000 worth of scratch off tickets from a container that was behind the counter.

The suspects were last seen walking southbound on Fordwich Line.

Suspect one is described as, 5'10" - 5'11" in height, wearing a black puffy coat with fur trim on the hood and an Oakland Raiders flat-brimmed ball cap. He has a thin goatee.

Suspect two is described as approximately 5'10 in height, he was wearing a black leather-like jacket and a red and black Air Jordan hat. He had a short unkempt beard.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
