OHL Wrap: Storm and Rangers suffer losses

Windsor 7 Kitchener 1

Greg Meireles was the lone scorer for the Rangers as Kitchener lost 7-1 to Windsor.

Meireles spoiled Kari Piiroinen's shut out bid with a power play goal at 2:50 of the third period.

Five different Spitfires players scored and had assists in the win: Tyler Angle, Mathew MacDougall, Nathan Staios, Luke Boka and Jean-Luc Foudy.

North Bay 5 Guelph 2

Christian Propp made 46 saves in North Bay's 5-2 win over Guelph. Only Zach Poirier and Isaac Ratcliffe were able to beat the Battalion's netminder.

Brandon Coe led the Battalion's offense with a pair of goals and an assist.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
