OPP investigating recent gas theft

Grey County OPP officers are searching for a gas thief after a recent incident in Springmount.

On Sunday, a female pulled into the Esso gas station in Springmount and pumped $130.04 worth of fuel into a black Ford F150 pick-up truck. The female then got into the passenger seat and the truck drove away, failing to pay for the fuel.

The truck is described as having chrome door handles and running boards. On the top centre area of the front windshield there is a white skull decal.

Anyone with information regarding this crime should contact Grey County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
