Grey Gables flu outbreak over

An influenza outbreak is over at Grey Gables in Markdale, but visitors are being urged to be cautious.

Grey County staff said there are still many cases of the flu present in the community, so infection control measures are strongly advised. People should wash and sanitize their hands frequently, and refrain from visiting if they feel unwell.

The outbreak of Influenza A continues on the first floor south at Lee Manor in Owen Sound.

In order to get it under control, and prevent further spreading of the illness, visiting is being strongly discouraged.

There are signs on the front door indicating the outbreak, and they will be removed when it is declared over.
