Sean Ross gives the Warriors a narrow victory

Sean Ross scored the game winner with 1:47 remaining in the third and Stratford edged Kitchener 3-2.

The Warriors struck twice in the first period to take a 2-0 lead into the second. Nick Jung scored unassisted at 9:09 of the opening frame and Andrew Gunlock scored at 15:54.

Sean Kawalec put the Dutchmen on the board midway through the second and Kyle Kennery's power play goal just 41 seconds into the third made it a tie game.

Kennery led the Dutchmen with a goal and an assist.

Corson Searles had two assists for the Warriors.

Zack Weir earned the win with 25 saves. Lucas Patton made 24 saves for Kitchener.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
