North Perth gets update on Northeast Master Plan

North Perth Council was recently updated on the Northeast Master Plan.

CAO Kris Snell said the plan surrounds a specific area in the Northeast area of the Listowel Ward.

"It's to look at servicing strategies and planning land use components for that area. Basically, the area is north of the cemetery, up to Line 87 including the Wallace Industrial Park," said Snell.

The first public information session on the North Perth Northeast Master Plan is set for February 19 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the North Perth Council chambers. Snell said the update this week includes some specific next steps.

"Part of what we'll do is look at some of the servicing details and some of the studies that have been done to date such as the environmental assessment study, and also just summarize those results, and then give the public the opportunity to provide input to council as the process unfolds," said Snell.
