New look for Walkerton water tower

Walkerton's water tower is sporting a new look.

The tower is easy to spot as you enter Walkerton from the West on Highway 9. It now features the new town logo, and the town's name features a water droplet around the "O" in Walkerton. The new logo was developed by Bruce County as part of it's Spruce the Bruce Walkerton Toolkit.

The tower was in need of work to help extend it's life, so the timing was good for a new coat of paint.

Brockton's Community Improvement Committee applied for matching funds from Spruce the Bruce to help cover the cost of repainting the tower.
