OPP investigating recent gas theft

Southern Bruce OPP are investigating a recent gas theft in Teeswater.

On January 20th, 2019, OPP officers arrived at the Teeswater Gas Bar located on Clinton Street South in Teeswater for a report of theft of gas.

An investigation revealed that at 2:30 p.m., two men in a pickup truck attended the gas bar, re-fueled and left without paying for the $80 in fuel.

The pickup truck was last seen heading south on County Road 4 in Teeswater.

The pickup truck is described as a black older model Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with four doors.

The driver of the truck is described as a Caucasian male with scruffy dark facial hair, approximately 30 years old, thin build, and a narrow face. The passenger is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 40 years old, with a round face wearing an orange hoodie.

Anyone with information is asked to contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
