$2.3M in local hospital funding announced

The MPP for Perth-Wellington has announced over $2.3 million in local hospital funding.

Randy Pettapiece said the new funding will help local hospitals complete renovations and upgrades while maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff alike.

He said in total, Ontario is investing $175 million in repairs and upgrades to 128 hospitals across the province.

North Wellington Health Care Corporation will receive $1.15 million.

Listowel Memorial Hospital gets $144,443.

$238,732 will go to St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Stratford General Hospital will receive $845,240.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
