Fire near Sebringville

Firefighters were at a Sebringville area home after a fire in a pellet stove bin Friday morning.

18 members for the Sebringville and Milverton stations responded to the call just after 6:30 a.m. Friday morning that came from the Line 44 home.

The house filled with smoke but the fire was put out. There has been no word on the extent of the damage but there were no reported injuries.

Fire officials are also noting the poor driving conditions Friday.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
