OPP investigating recent vehicle break-ins and damage

South Bruce OPP are investigating after two incidents occurred in Huron-Kinloss related to vehicle theft and damage.

On January 24, OPP officers responded to two different addresses on Ross Street in Huron-Kinloss where one vehicle was broken into by unknown suspects, and a green carry-on bag was stolen containing orange coveralls, a hard hat, flashlight and a vest. Another vehicle, a pick-up truck, had a rear lock damaged, but was not entered.

The OPP are reminding residents to ensure their vehicles are locked and their keys are safely stored. They also want anyone to report suspicious activity. If you have information regarding this case, please contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
