Police asking for public help in locating missing woman

Saugeen Shores Police are asking for public help in locating a missing person.

52-year-old Port Elgin native Kathryn Dereski (SCATTERTY-DERESKI) was last seen on January 25th, 2019 at 4:30 pm in the parking lot of the Liquor Store located at 216 Goderich Street, Port Elgin. Police are concerned for her safety.

Kathryn is described as a white female, 52-years-old, 5’11, 160 lbs with short wavy strawberry blonde hair, blue/green eyes, and a medium build. She was last seen wearing a grey knee length winter coat, grey toque, leather mittens and winter boots. If anyone knows anything about Kathryn's whereabouts, they should contact Saugeen Shores Police at (519)832-9200.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
