OHL: Rangers and Knights earn victories

Kitchener 4 Sault Ste. Marie 3 (OT)

Jonathan Yantsis scored the game winner 1:29 in to overtime to give the Kitchener Rangers a 4-3 win over Sault Ste. Marie.

Greg Meireles tied the game for the Rangers with less than three minutes left in regulation.

Rickard Hugg three assists for Kitchener. Joseph Garreffa and Mike Petizian also scored in the win.

London 5 Oshawa 3

Liam Foudy struck twice and set up another for London as the Knights topped the Generals 5-3.

Cole Tymkin had the game winner midway through the third.

Anthony Salinitri was in on all three of Oshawa's goals, scoring once and setting up the other two.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
