Huron County is looking for an energy specialist

Huron County is looking for a climate change and energy specialist.

“This position will focus on planning and implementing climate change and energy use reduction initiatives in the county," said Planning Director Sandra Weber. "So it will involve basically assessing the county's current energy use and looking at operational changes that can lead to savings and increased resiliency to climate change impact."

Applicants are asked to forward their letter of application and resume to humanresources@huroncounty.ca by 4:30 p.m. on February 4.

Weber added they're looking for a candidate that has a degree in environmental sustainability, environmental engineering or energy management planning or environmental science type related education.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
