Bruce Power staff issued new orders due to winter storm

As the polar vortex continues, Bruce Power has issued staff direction for turnover staff Wednesday evening.

In a release, the company says Category B staff directly supporting critical path activities should report for duty using alternate routes, as Highway 21 remains closed.

All other Category B staff and all Category C staff should not report for duty.

Category A staff scheduled to work this evening should report for duty, using alternate routes.

Bus information has been sent to employees and note staff should bring their own food to the site, as "provisions may be limited".

All employees are being asked to respect road closures and monitor www.2828.brucepower.com for any updates to staff direction.
